I wore all my shirts one size up, and made jokes about “how much weight I gained on the honeymoon” for the first 10 or so weeks

Blazers! They detract attention from the tummy area.  Wear a shirt with a detailed neckline or a loud necklace to draw eyes up.

I was pregnant January-March before I announced at work. I wore a lot of scarves. They’re really in style right now, and they hid my bump perfectly. No one knew I was pregnant before I announced, and I’m skinny and had a very flat stomach before, so it was obvious if you were really looking.

@bluefrog33:  I wore flowy tops with a cardigan which is normal for me. Also, i have some tanks from express with ruffles and lace tiers that I wore under camis that were good for hiding too. told my boss at 17w and he had no clue. No one else in the office knows yet either.

I think you’d most likely have to start wearing loose tops (often) etc BEFORE you start trying. That way it won’t be so obvious that your whole waredrobe has changed overnight.

@Everdeen:  Agreed! I’m pretty thin (size 2), so the first trimester bloat was really noticable. Since I rarely wore tight cloths before, my regular cloths worked just fine until about 18 weeks (when I announced at work). Some people suspected, but didn’t comment because they weren’t sure.

@bluefrog33:  “I already had some lady grab my stomach and ask if I was pregnant” – wait what?! Why are people touching you, LOL. That is so odd!!!
