We are wanting to serve a late night snack at our reception. We have a sit down dinner around 7 followed by drinks and dancing until 11:30. I thought it would be a good idea to have some sort of late night snack for people to have around 10:30. (I always get hungry after a few drinks and dancing! )
I have thought about sliders and fries but my mom didn’t like that option.
Any other suggestions??

What about pizza? I can’t come up with anything else because I think I’m stuck on sliders and fries.

Why didn’t your mom like that option – it sounds perfect!

I think the sliders and fries sound fun. Maybe she’s worried that it will look tacky? I think presentation would help make it look nice. Maybe you could use shot glasses half filled with ketchup and put come fries in it and pair it with a slider with a really cute/fancy toothpick in it… Here’s some links for a visual:
If your mom is totally against it them maybe something a little more upscale like large sized bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, different types of bite size quiche, and maybe a dessert type crepe.
I hope the sliders and fries win, because that sounds really fun!!!

Pizza pizza pizza. That is my all time fave drinking food. Although really, anything greasy and salty will do the trick…I think mini grilled cheese will be cute too!

I like all of the ideas posted so far! A friend of mine did sliders & fries, with the fries served in paper “cones” that looked nice! I also like the idea of cookies with shots of milk.
