I only wear glasses at night, but I am blind as a bat without them. I’m getting ready to have a baby soon and am thinking it would be good to have an extra pair on hand in case I lose my current pair (which are kind of bent anyways)… I need to be able to find my way to baby when I get up in the night! 🙂
I have a current prescription I could send in if I ordered online… I don’t need super special lenses, except that I do need to pay extra for the thinner ones, since my prescription is like 7.50.

Coastal is my rec. I order glasses and contacts from them at least once a year. They run their best sales at the end of the year and around the time the school year starts. After much research they came with the best recommendation regarding service and quality products. I order new glasses every year because I like to change styles and their prices are reasonable enough to make it affordable to do so.
I used Zinni to purchase sunglasses for under $40. I love having a pair of prescription sunglasses but they are definitely cheaply made so I would not recommend their prodcuts for everyday wear glasses.

Walmart is pretty reasonable and I think COSTCO is too.

I have been wearing Zenni glasses everyday for the last 2 years (zennioptical.com). They are cheaply made (the frames) but the lenses are fine. I don’t have as strong of a prescription as you though so now sure how they are in that regards. I usually order the pairs that are under $9 each, add the anti-reflective coating and also about 3 pairs.

Coastal Contacts always had a free eyeglass promo for new customers. Check them out. I can vouch for them, as well. The glasses are good quality.

Walmart is very reasonable. Lenses are $25 and frames start at $9. My son has them and they have held up and he is 7.
