Since I am having a winter wedding and the ceremony is outdoors, we are planning on having some blankets out for guests oppose to having heat lamps in our ceremony pictures. Where is the best place to look for these?

@Applestar13: I would hit up Ikea for sure. They have lots of polar fleece throws in lots of different colors and patterns for really cheap. Or, you could even hit up a fabric store and get LOTS of polar fleece (watch for sales/coupons) and make your own no-sew blankets (the kind where you just tie the ends of 2 pieces of fleece together…instructions are all over the Internet). You’d be able to make the throws in any size you want this way (and you could find some pretty colors or patterns that would look good in photos). You could even invite your friends/family over and have a blanket-making party 🙂 After your wedding, you could donate them to a shelter or something, especially since they didn’t cost you a lot.

I would go to Target and/or Bed Bath and Beyond…or even Home Goods or Marshalls

Ross and TJ Maxx have good blankets. And if you are near a Garden Ridge they have some fleece blankets for 2.99 each in all different colors and prints. They are a little on the thin side, but I think they would work for what you need them for.
