DiamondBistro, LoupeTroop, eBay, OfferUp, LetGo, FB marketplace are all good for selling jewelry!

You could take it to the jeweler who you bought it from and see if they will consign it for you.  I know my jeweler does that.

mamabird421 :  Second the previous suggestions. However, you are unlikely to get anything close to the “value” given someone could reconstruct a similar looking unbranded version for about $400.

Agreed with @mambird421 above.  It may have cost $1,500, but in the resale market it is “worth” far less.

anonymousbee001 :  Ditto.. worth is only what someone’s willing to pay.  Beautiful ring though 💕

I think pps covered everything. Sorry bee, but its unlikely you’ll get anywhere close to $1500. This ring can be made brand new for like $300 usd.

pps covered the sites id recommend: diamond bistro and loupe troop are my favourite jewellery resale sites.

Just saw your listing on Loupetroop. Gorgeous ring but you will have a hard time selling it for your current asking of $1,000. $500 to $600 is a much more realistic price. Also, definitely list it on Diamondbistro.com – I think that site is more moissanite friendly whereas Pricescope is more diamond friendly. I usually list my pieces on both sites.

Usually i’d say depends on the price of gold and the %. The etching shows 14k, its hard to sell 14k jewelry I think, as its not a lot of gold. your best bet is to find an individual buyer, but other pps have said it before you can easily buy a custom ring/moissanite like this for under $500.

Lovely ring, and I would try Diamond Bistro and be conservative with pricing….probably in the region of $300-$500.

I’ve heard of a website called I do now I don’t, but haven’t used it personally so I can’t attest to it’s legitimacy.

jellybellynelly :

where would I be able to get a similar ring with a forever one moissanite for around $500?

theeebride007 :  it seems like the Chinese vendors can do this. There is another post (I’ll link it if I can find it) comparing the cost of making a ring in platinum among various overseas manufactures and, if I remember correctly, the highest estimate was in the 680 range. For platinum. Brand new and it was a custom ring.

Mrs.Bill :  That post will be supper helpful for me. I want to make a custom platinum ring but with diamond mele and my own moissanite centre. I contacted Mona an Providence but they don’t use diamond meles.
