So I am on the hunt for this summers bathing suit. I prefer a suit without straps (gotta avoid those tan lines for the big day!) but I find it so hard to find a good one that also offers support. I plan on doing my share of tanning outdoors and all of these strapless suits for the big busted gals are full of thick straps and most are just flat out ugly grandma style suits!
I am a size 14 w/ 38Dirty Delete bust… This is coming to be harder than I thought. 🙁 Am even thinking of getting one and taking it to my seamstress to add in some hardwear to keep em up and perky!

Try Target if you are looking for something less costly to just lay out in. I found size XL in their Merona 1 pieces gave me the the room I needed to keep a strapless suit hoisted up but had an option to tie around the neck if I wanted to make the look more “cutesy” with a cover up for a pool party. Several styles had rouching which helped in the tummy department too.
Target also carries a Spanx collection, but I personally felt like I was wearing body armour when I tried it in on in the dressing room. Not comfortable for lounging around the pool…

Try alwaysforme.com. I have a tankini from there with removable straps and it keeps my DDD’s up.

Miraclesuits are amazing! Cyberswim.com has the biggest selection and the Kara suit works really well if you want to take the straps down. It has an underwire and is very supportive. They also have other strapless styles. I swear by these bathing suits and will not wear another brand. They suck everything in and look great!

I have a smaller bust than you, but I have had really good luck with Victoria’s Secret bathing suits. My very busty friend (38DDD) also has one from there that she loves. They build real underwires into the suits and have good tankini and one-piece options. Not cheap though.

I’m in the same boat as you. ALL the bathing suits I see are halter top, I just can’t wear them. I’m a 38F/G and my boobs just pull on my neck so I can’t wear a halter. That being said, I can’t even find a bathing suit top that would fit me. I always have to try the maternity section for a top. I’m normal size (14/xl) on the bottom) so bottoms are never a problem.

I absolutely love the suits from pinupgirlclothing. they are all vintage/retro looking and go up to 2X!

I love Lands End for bathing suits (I’m size 16). They have a huge range of sizes and styles. Tjey sell some in store at Sears, but I find their website has much better selection.

I bought my 38G underwire tankini from Lane Bryant, you have to order it online, I know its not a strapless but it truly holds up the girls.

So after my weeks of searching for a supportive bathing suit I have finally found success today at the Everything But Water swim suit store. The suits were pricy but I had grrrrrreat support on the tops! So happy!
Got this top only also and was super surpised with how supportive it is (comes with halter strap that helps a lot.
