I cannot reccomend Cards & Pockets enough.  I was referred to them by a friend who DIY’d her stuff.  Their customer service was great.

I have only ordered my STD’s from them so far, and the quality was impressive for the price.

I also liked the handwritten note on my packing slip.

As a side note, they sent a 10% coupon for my next purchase.  The rep realized the had used a different customers name in the email, and immediately sent another email apologizing.  It’s nice to have the feeling of dealing with “real” people, if that makes sense.

There is a company called envelopements which is really good – the paper is high quality and they have lots and lots of options – metallics, patterns, etc.  They also show lots of invitation combinations on their site and let you order all the pieces separately – cardstock, velum wraps, etc – and assemble them yourself.  Their prices are fair, especially for what you’re getting, but they were still a little more than I wanted to spend.  I found another company – http://www.cardsandpockets.com and we are going with them instead.  We ordered a sample first to make sure that we weren’t sacrificing quality for price.  They are slightly less nice than envelopments, but still very good quality.  They don’t have as many designs, but they still have a large variety of colors, including metallics.  Envelopements charges 2.00 per pocketfold, and cardsandpockets charges 80 cents.  There is also the added bonus that if you order cardstock through them, they are actually trimmed down a quarter of an inch so taht you don’t have to do any extra cutting yoruself if you want to layer the cardstock.  You can order a sample (you have to pay) but the shipping is free.  I can also send you pictures of what I got in the mail if you’d like!

Oh, and I forgot. They have paper samples for purchase.  They are pretty inexpensive.
