I purchased the ever-popular Tolsby frame from Ikea to use for table numbers/menus (double-sided). I’m planning to order the table numbers/menus from Zazzle. They’re fairly plain, except for a floral image along the bottom (and obviously lots of text). However, I realized that while the Tolsby frame takes a 4×6 sheet of paper, Zazzle only sells the table number/menu sheet in 4.25×5.5 or 4.5×6.25. Can anyone recommend what would be best to do? Order them slightly too small, or slightly too large? Or would it be better to find 4×6 cardstock and try to design something myself? Thanks for any ideas!

boeing10: You can always trim a card that is too big, while a smaller card may not fit securely in the frame.

I designed signage that was 4×6. If I were you and wanted to order stuff online, I’d order bigger and crop. The smaller size won’t work. However, the frame does cover up about 1/3″ on each side, so keep that in mind.

boeing10: This wasn’t one of your options. However, could you buy the smaller size and mount it on cardstock? I also have these frames, and I don’t know that a piece too small would stay put.

StL.Ashley: Thank you. How did you design your own? I can see perhaps designing them in an image editor or something, but I’m not sure what kind of paper to print on, if I would need to get them printed elsewhere or would I be able to print them myself, etc.
boeing10: Thank you! Good point.
