You can get it yearly for free at annualcreditreport.com. You get all three big ones for free this way.

@StormyRose: I believe you get the report only, but have to pay for the score. But agree, this is a good place to start.

You can get the report free, but I don’t think you can get your score for free.  Maybe I’m wrong?

Yea, the score is $9.95 or so. But the report is free.

@lefeymw: & @JoJo Bananas: Yes it is only the report. If you are looking for the score then apply for a loan and they have to give it to you as part of the process. If you are looking to find out what debt you have then go to the website and it will tell you everything outstanding by each of the copanies. They do not always list the same debt.

I like annualcreditreport.com. You can also get one through your bank or credit card. I have Citi and they give you your score and report for a small fee (less than $10).

creditkarma.com

No hidden fees or enrollments, and you can access at any time (as in more than once per year) and they have great tools and tips to help you manage it. I was impressed!

Bummer…not sure! I’m using Google Chrome, so they might be updating their site for your browser right now?

I second creditkarma.com!  It’s really easy to use, you can update your score as often as you’d like and it lets you know ways to improve your score.  They also have a fun score simulator where it shows you what your score would be if for example, you paid off a card completely, or forgot to make a payment.
