I am asking because I am planning my own Ceremony and I am looking for advice and tips.
In a perfect world I would love to have a balance between all aspects.
What are your plans for your Wedding Ceremony? Do you Want to make people cry? Or laugh?
Did people cry when you said your vows? Did they laugh and get your jokes?
What made your ceremony special or unique? What are you planning to say or do at your ceremony?
What cultrual traditions are you incorperating? What superstitions are you planning to follow?
What about a wedding you attended, what has stuck with you about the ceremony?

@laura.batty: our ceremony was a very traditional church ceremony. We did make people laugh, when the priest was asking us questionsn Darling Husband would give a funny response. It was also emotional bc Darling Husband was crying but then people were laughing bc I didnt cry at all I was laughing the whole time, not bc i was laughing at Darling Husband I was just so happy I was giddy!!!
The tradition i kept was not seeing the groom the night before. So i slept at my moms house.

For me, the best ceremonies have a mix of love, laughter, and (happy) tears. They’re personal; they reflect the couple, both as individuals and as a unit. 🙂
