They are ok with you staying at your boyfriend’s, but not with working/serving alcohol on a Sunday? Sounds like biblical cherry-picking to me. I think it might be time to consider supporting yourself and moving out on your own so that you can have your own standards and lifestyle.

Your parents clearly care about you however I believe that it is okay to work on Sunday afternoons as long as you get to go Church in the morning. It is up to you what you do as you have free will, so if you want to stay over your bf’s that is your decision. However, do take into account why your parents are uncomfortable with it and see that it may be because they want to protect you. Try and let them know that you appreciate their concerns but tell them that it is something that you need to figure out for yourself.

@Kacey23:  So am I to assume they never eat out, watch a movie, or watch TV sport on Sundays?

My point is any sort of “no work on Sundays” rule is almost impossible to apply consistently.

(I agree with them about staying over at your boyfriend’s though).
