I recently won a $1000 gift voucher to use at a jeweler of my choice out of about 20! For me this was such a huge blessing as my fiance and I had recently become engaged. We were in the middle of custom designing an engagment ring on a fairly limited budget when we found out I’d won! It gave us a little more flexibility in our budget. I’m so excited to receive my ring!

Eh, a few random raffles, $1200 on a slot machine once (only put in $5) but the real lucky duck in my family was my brother who won a house and land package worth about $450,000.

Idk if this counts but, Victoria’s Secret gives out secret rewards cards once every so often and each card has at least $10. Well one time I got one of the ones that had $50! Oh man I was sooooo happy! But other than that I havent won anything else:(

Similar to a silent auction but you buy tickets instead of make bids. You buy tickets and put them in a basket or bag in front of each gift. Then they draw the winning tickets. It’s fun because the gifts are arranged in levels. The lowest level prizes are cheaper to buy tickets for but are also cheaper (maybe worth $20-50 each). Then as you go up the tickets for the prizes cost more but they are more expensive prizes. You tend to have a strategy of how many of each ticket level you are going to buy. That’s the fun part. The Coach purse was the second-highest level and cost me $5 for a ticket. The highest level prize at that tricky tray was a 4 night trip to Disney World but I didn’t win that 🙁 Tricky trays are really big around me. My mom and I love to go to them.

congratulations! I won over a million dollars in the lottery…ok not yet but I’m putting that out in The Universe. In elementary school my father sold 100 cases of World’s Finest Chocolates so I won a trip to Disneyland. Then he sold another 100 cases so my mom could go with me. My dad was a Rockstar-the nuns loved him!

I won a Style Me Pretty x Macy’s giveaway! 4 place settings and 4 sets of various glassware (I think worth about $500), I almost never win anything so this was super exciting!

I rarely win anything. The last thing I won was big jar of chocolate cherries/pecans from a gourmet chocolatier place from Seattle, WA. (I live in the midwest) I had their chocoates when we went out there for our honeymoon almost 4 years ago and like them on FB. They had a contest guess how many in the jar. I had the exact amount! They shipped it to me, it was like 10 lbs! OMG and soooo good

When I was 8, while waiting for my mom to finish paying the cashier at the grocery store – I filled out one of those little sweepstake papers (wrote in that I was 18) and put it in the box. They called some months later to say I won a pink Cadillac. I clearly couldn’t accept as I was way under age and not truthful on the sweepstakes paper. As an adult I have won tickets for shows, haunted houses, spa days and hair treatments.
