one of my all favorite TV weddings was Lois and Clark’s wedding on Smallville. I just love the part when he came in and walked her down the ailse!

And i have to say it – i loved every second of Bella and Edward’s wedding in Breaking Dawn!!!

I also loved when Monica proposed to Chandler on Friends

I loved when Ross said Rachel’s name when he was marrying Emily on Friends. I <3 Friends, and I was always pulling for Ross and Rachel to finally get their act together.

@dynamic_duo:  Edward and Bella’s wedding looked beautiful, but Kristin Stewart totally ruined the walk down the aisle with her horrible “acting.”  She looked like she had something stuck up her bum and was in pain.

@Boston Bee:  yes, i knew there was another Friends moment i loved! And i think that was how the season ended that year!

Oh and i have been through a lot of weddings on General Hospital….one i really liked was Karen and Jagger.  And Luke and Tracey’s cracked me up.

my favorite movie wedding is not bound to be a popular one, but i have loved it since i first saw it as a teenager.

the wedding scene from the 1982 version of The Scarlet Pimpernel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3uDwJ-3rGA

I love how he puts the ring on one finger at a time and we are doing our own modern version of it where we make four promises while putting the rings on one at a time.

I LOVED Bella & Edward’s wedding (don’t judge) but my all time favorite wedding scene was Steel Magnolias. Also loved the Chinese lantern send off at the end of Hangover 2!

I love the friends one, where ross said rachels name too. The most recent favorite was from an episode of Parenthood. It was so good, and just seem to be a real simply backyard affair loved it.

@rosworms:  I love costume dramas and Pimpernel along with a number of other mini-series in the 80’s fueled my love of them and inspired me to read the novels they were based on. (And helped bring about my lifelong love affair with romance novels by extension.)

Some of my favorite wedding scenes are:

The Slipper and The Rose – the music, the costumes, it’s a beautiful wedding and one of my favorite versions of Cinderella there is.

Pride and Prejudice – The A&E Colin Firth version.  The double wedding and the departure.

The Other Sister – Carla’s wedding was simple but it was so heartfelt and earnest, I cry every time.

Not a wedding, but an engagement party, have to mention Pocketful of Miracles, it’s so funny and sweet all at once!
