I’ve been struggling with my veil situation but I finally found a shape of one that I like, but it’s just a plain cut edge and I want to add rhinestones to the edge.
I’m new to this crafty thing so I don’t know much about what works on what. Would I be able to just use superglue on the rhinestones and stick them on? Or I guess that might cause it to stick to whatever is underneath the veil when drying… suggestions?
Thank you guys!

I suggest getting 4mm bicone crystal beads instead of rhinestones. They sparkle more and photograph better. Sew them on with clear thread.

You could, with a really strong craft glue. But I’d personally sew on bicone beads.

Fabric glue, according to all the DIY veil articles I read.

I’m a seamstress, dont use glue! The netting has holes of course and it just would not hold up well along with sticking to whatever is underneath it. Go to your local fabric store and purchase clear/invisible thread. There are sites that sell sew on rhinestones (etsy shop called TheBrightShop) and firemountaingems.com. These are really great shops!
Also, the beads the other ladies spoke about do sparkle and photograph well but do what you want or do both! if you want to go the glue way, use swavorski crystals with flat foil backs and place the crystal on the area of the veil you want then line the back of the veil with either thin paper or another thin material, place glue on the back of the crystal then place it on the veil with the material of your choice then cut around the material. I personally think the sew in are easier lol
cant wait to see how it goes for you!
