We are very lucky that h2b parents have given us one of their barns to have the reception in (they are having it refitted so will not be in use) they are also giving us the use of the holiday cottages that they also have on their land. We get to use these cottages for free. H2b immediate family (siblings) are going to stay with his parents.
Our original idea was to ear mark some beds for my parents/siblings and then just leave it up to the rest of the guests on a first come first serve (though really we would prefer it if our aunts and uncles had first dabs on the cottages before anyone else)
But we dont just want to tell our family that they will be staying in these cottages – especially as there is not space for all our families in them and some may prefer to be in a B&B
There is two pubs in the closest village (about a 7-10 min walk) with rooms which we have blocked book as well. (We are basically taking over the whole village) – so they would have to book their if needed or tell me if they wanted a room in one of the cottages.
The people in the cottages wont have to pay but will need to bring their own food (breakfast and the like) While if they stay in either pub they will have to pay but do get breakfast.
What would be the best way to phrase it in the invite? Because I have no idea
