I haven’t used it, but bestbrudalprices.com looks like a good site. When I pick out my dresses, I’ll definitely check for it on there. Good luck!

I’m going with RKBridal.com in just the next few weeks.  They’ll beat any on-line authorized site’s price by 5%.  Know plenty of brides who got their dresses and their Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses through the site.  HouseofBrides.com is another option.

Oops, and since this is my first post – weddingbee has been the best site for planning my August 2009 wedding.   THANK YOU everyone.  🙂

I second netbride! They really are great. This is what we did:

Call RK Bridal for their no frills price, then call Netbride to see if they will match RK’s price. Chances are they will (depending on the manufacturer they might even beat it) but they will also ofer a flat shipping rate to one destination (RK did not offer that when I placed my order) so we ended up saving on the shipping. Plus Netbride is rated by the BBB while RK is not.

If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me. Dresses came in perfect and exacty when they said they would.

Good luck!

I gotta say, I would not recommend HouseofBrides.com.  We ordered our Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses there, and although they were about $60 cheaper (each) than in the store, we’re still waiting for them.  We ordered in the beginning of October, and we were originally told they’d come in the beginning of January, and now they’re saying end of February.  And it’s very tough to get someone on the phone, too.

I bought my bridesmaid dresses at nordstroms.com.  They were cheap(er) and still look nice.  My bridesmaids all love them.

anytime Miss Glitter! Happy to help. The bridal industry is such a racket that I made it my personal mission to find my friend’s dress at the cheapest price.

We were originally quoted $189 by a traditional bridal store and we paid $131 through Netbride w/out shipping (which I think was $25 flat rate for 8 dresses to one shipping address, on one credit card).

I’ve had a few friends get theirs at Nordstroms too.  We’ll be doing Jcrew.  My sis will drive 2 hrs to get there, but she is a stickler for trying things on in the store.  My bff knows her size there and will order online.

Both have decent return policies.

I got the bridesmaid dresses from Bluefly (they have a selection of Vera and Amsale), the two maid of honor dresses from Pearl’s Place, and the groomswoman’s dress from Nordstrom.  All had great selection and good service and even better prices!

My godmother got her dress for my wedding from Nordstrom and I’ve gotten a dress from there, as well, for when I was a guest for a wedding.  They really do have some great options for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, as well.  It was too late when I found out, but I wish I had ordered my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from House of Brides.  They had a dress I really wanted my girls to wear and in soooo many colors!

I have the book "Bridal Bargains" and it rates sites, so here’s a few they recommend for gowns, most of which carry Bridesmaid or Best Man as well.

dorianneveils.com, netbrides.com, rkbridal.com, and plussizebridals.com. We’re actually using the last one, even tho most of my girls are not plus-sized, the site carries the full range. They’re getting Alfred Angelo dresses that are about $150-$170 in store for $105, so not a bad deal. Couldn’t tell you yet how that works out tho, they only just ordered them. Definitely check the BBB before you commit to any, and good luck!
