I love Ms. Awesome Weds (Ms. Awesome is marrying another Ms. Awesome in LA and it’s just fun an personable to read about their process): http://www.msawesome.com/blog/

I read Oh So Beautiful Paper because I’m a paper freak (not limited to wedding invites, but the majority of them are); Santa Barbara Wedding Chic blog (google it) is also good for eye candy, as is Oh Happy Day! by Jordan Ferney (which is not a wedding blog, but there’s a lot of DIY inspiration anyway).

Happy surfing!

the first wedding blog i ever read was a backyard wedding. i was obsessed with her wedding and wanted to recreate every detail of it. unfortunately my parents don’t live on a farm in california, and the suburbs of dc just don’t lend themselves to a big backyard wedding, complete with guests camping on the lawn. and most of our guests probably don’t like to camp. still, it’s a great read. i actually found weddingbee from there and read the blog archives obsessively for like a year before we got engaged.  it was my guilty little pleasure.

@JennyW1: ms. awesome blogs here on weddingbee now as miss stripes (and is indeed awesome)

@pb and j: REALLY? I just joined the bee! It’s kind of strange, though–I feel like I know her because she’s so cool on her blog and I don’t. At all. Wow, if I ever catch the screenname I’ll probably post and blush.

@JennyW1: um yeah, that happens to me all the time from the blogs i read on WB and other places, to the point where i hear myself saying all the time “my friend did such and such….” but “my friend” is some blogger that i’ve never met. haha.

@pb and j: A Backyard Wedding was TOTALLY my first wedding blog too. I started reading it way before I was engaged. I think I found it through a Google search for some kind of Not Wedding Related craft instructions, but their wedding was so cool that I continued to follow the blog!

@sloth: yup i found it for something completely Not Wedding Related and read the whole archives in a day or two. i still follow her personal blog because i’m obsessed. btw, congrats on becoming a blogger! but they reset your post count??

and to actually contribute to what this post is supposed to be about, brooklyn bride is always a good read (even if you’re not in new york), plus she has a really well-curated list of links to other wedding blogs
