I personally tried out both the Knot and Brides (we were only going with a free option).  I thought the Brides website was much easier to set up and keep updated, plus it comes with numerous other helpful tools like a seating chart and online RSVP’s.  http://www.brides.com

This one OFCOURSE! & yeah the knot was very helpful in a lot of situations. I would also consider going to your local book store & picking up a wedding planner, that helped me out in the beginning.

Do you mean websites to create your own wedding webpage, or sites about weddings?  If the former, I used Wedding Window, and really liked it.  It’s not free, but it had a lot of useful features, was aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use.

I used weddingwire.com and bought a domain on godaddy.com (cost: about $7 for 1 year) which is forwarded to my free site. I guess it depends on what is most important for you to have. Me? I wanted a custom, easy-to-remember domain name and I wanted to play music. I have been really happy with the way it turned out.

I did a fair amount of researching and poking around for our website and the only one I found that I liked was on eweddings. We’re paying five bucks a month to have our own domain.
