I was considering buying my dress from Best Bridal Prices — I believe they’re a regular store, that also sells online.  Call them up, it should help!  That will give an idea of what they are.  But based on prices, yep, there’s just not charging you overhead and commission since you’re buying it online!

(I haven’t checked the other two sites though.)

Are the prices on those sites a lot cheaper than a dress you would buy in the store? just wondering

I believe weddingshoppeinc.com is associated with The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN. So it’s probably their online store with the designers they carry.

If I were to order online, I think I’d feel more comfortable doing it on a site that has an actual storefront somewhere.

I bought a Dessy Bridesmaid or Best Man dress from bestbridalprices. It was authentic (from the designer), not a knockoff.

I accidentally entered the wrong date that I needed the dress by and was contacted by customer service within a half hour of ordering to see if I needed to cancel or put a rush on the order and they were super friendly/helpful. (Without a rush, I would be pushing it for the actual date I needed it for) – I skipped the rush option and received the dress about a week earlier than expected.

It was well packaged and if I remember right, required a signature confirmation on delivery (which is nice to have when you are spending so much, just in case).

I would buy from them again – definitely (the cost difference between what I paid and the local stores I checked saved me quite a bit!)

They do have a brick and mortar store ( it has a different name, but they are basically the same business.) I was told that when they receive the dress from the manufacturer that they inspect it in store before sending it on to you.

CCSR is correct about bestbridalprices. I bought my dress from their brick-and-mortar location (which is Carole Frew’s Bridal in Alton, IL). They were SUPER nice and really helpful. They order the dresses from the designers, they are not knockoffs.

Allure ended up being backed up with my dress delivery and they were going to deliver it 6 weeks late. They sold me the “in-stock” dress, which was inventory from the website not a sample, for 50% off and threw in the 3 pairs of Footzy Rolls (shoes) I bought for free. They were so wonderful about the whole situation.

I would absolutely buy from them again. Their customer service was awesome.

I don’t have any experience with the sites you mentioned, but I purchased the flower girl dresses from RK Bridal.  They have a store in Manhattan, and an online program available here: http://www.rkbridal.com/Menu/NoFrillsProgram/tabid/761/Default.aspx .  I was very happy with the prices and services there, and you can see if they carry the dress you like.

I ordered my wedding dress through BestBridalPrices.com, and they were AWESOME!. I got my dress about a month before they said it would come in, however, my dress was missing a crystal in its embellisment. I took pictures and emailed them the same night I recieved the dress and they responded quickly the next morning. They apologized, and paid for me to ship it back to fix it. When it came to me the second time it was perfect :-]. With as far as those dresses travel from the manufacturer, I think the crystal issue could happen to anyone, and they provided the best customer service to rectify the situation.

Also, a word to the wise… they beat other competitors prices by 5% :-].
