I’ve always wanted a summer wedding, because I’m from Canada, and most of our year is winter, so summer is a tiny slice of freedom we get from that! But it was pushed back to Sept 7th, which is still technically summer, but it feels a lot like Fall to me.
What’s each Bee’s dream season to get married in?

I would love a Spring wedding (preferably in September or October) but we will probably have a winter wedding as it’s off-peak season

Spring or Fall. I’m not a big fan of either extreme, weather-wise.

We had a summer wedding, which I loved because we were able to have it outside by the lake. I have seen gorgeous winter weddings as well. The snow is beautiful in pictures. It really depends on your tastes.

We got married in summer. We chose our date because I am a teacher and that was in the middle of the summer holidays and it meant we could still have a few weeks together to celebrate being married before going back to work. Plus then I started the new teaching year with a new lastname!
It also worked out well with familly and friends coming home from overseas for Christmas and staying for the wedding 🙂
If I was in any other job we prob would have chosen an early Autumn wedding date as even tho summer in NZ is Dec/Jan/Feb, the nicest weather is prob Feb and March. Early Autumn is a beautiful time of year 🙂

I guess being in NS makes for shorter summers because it’s sweltering here in ON still. I love spring and fall weather but mostly fall when it cools down a bit. That doesn’t hit here usually until at least towards the end of September and that’s what makes it my favourite season….even though our wedding is set for December (in Florida). It’s the only time I get off other than the first two weeks in July which is just way way WAY too hot around here!

@silkspectre94: I think I’m the opposite of you! I live in South Louisiana, so since it’s HOT all year round, any slice of winter I can get is ideal for me! We are getting married in December and I’m hoping hoping hoping we get a little bit of cold!!!

spring….in florida…outside wedding and reception. Best time before the bugs and heat hit us, flowers are beginning to bloom….before hurricane season and not too chilly either. No way was I gonna get married outside any later than that in florida.

I live in New York. If we were to get married here, I’d want an early autumn wedding. However, it looks like we’ll be having a destination wedding so that will change things up! 🙂

I wanted a winter wedding; DH wanted a summer wedding; we compromised on spring. I’d like to do another Rock the Frock photoshoot in the snow to make up for it.

I voted summer but I live in Melbourne – Summer and Fall weddings I think are the most common.

I am so excited to be getting married on the 1st day of fall!!!!!! Summer is too hot, winter is too cold. Fall is perfect. Plus, I just love fall. I am hoping that the leaves change early this year (and it looks so far like I will be getting that wish)

Fall for be because I like the fact that the hair and makeup will be in place and it will not be hot.
