Well, I had my betas tested at 5w2days. It was 6015. I know it will be my test tomorrow that will determine everything, and I am a wreck. I don’t even know my question because I know it’s within normal range, and only the second test will tell me anything. I guess, let’s see some of the beta tests from my other Bees, and how far along you are. Might help distract me. After 1 early loss, 1 third trimester loss, 1 chemical and 1 blighted ovum, I’m hoping this time it’s a good old fashioned take home baby. Alright Bees, let’s see those betas!

Hi bee! I’m so sorry for your losses. I’ve also had several losses, so I know how scary this time is. With betas that high, doubling time is expected to be a lot lower–more like 96 hours or more. An ultrasound would likely do a lot more to assess the viability of your pregnancy.

Thank you! I’m confused though, why would they double so slowly I’m only 5 weeks? Doesn’t that usually happen week 7-8?

once your levels hit 1000 they stop doubling every 48 hours, more like every 60-73 hours. You’re on track. Try hard not to worry though I know it feels impossible. ❤️

Thank you! Yes, not worrying is impossible, but I still appreciate the helpful info.

when you get your second beta, you can go to betabase.info and check to see the ranges. i used that site during my IVF successes.
