I don’t see a dress posted.  Looking forward to seeing it though.

@Woobee:  beautiful!!! Do you have pictures of the train stretched out? It’s so lovely!

It reads vintage and garden. I’m not sure about modern or deco.

It’s gorgeous! And it’s very English garden, I think.

If you like fashion, I think the wedding dress is the perfect place to put your money; I paid for my designer dress as well, but it was exactly what I wanted and there are lots of other places to cut corners. Congrats!

@Woobee:  Yay, another Marchesa bride! Their gowns are divine, and I agree with the PP that if you have any interest or passion for fashion, then it makes sense to splurge on a designer gown.

Your dress reads garden/whimsical to me…I would do a chapel length train, simple and elegant.

Love the dress! I’m in the fashion industry and I am a HUGE fan of what Marchesa has done. I think it reads vintage and garden, a little whimsical as well especially with the detail above the bust line and the bow. I wore a Vera Wang but not one of her more popular designs – I’ve actually never seen anyone on WB in my dress. I’m traditional and I vote for cathedral. Anything shorter than that screams more baptismal than bridal. Also, I would stay away from chapel because your dress has so much detail, if your veil ends where your dress ends it gets lost a bit.

Love it!  So romantic and elegant with a lot of charm. I’d do a chapel or cathedral veil with that dress.
