I think I’m close to the end, you guys!! After trying over 25 dresses, I think it’s between these two: one, the Olvi dress, fit very easily and only needed a little clamping and pining to try o nthe sample. The Martina Liana dress was 8-10 sizes too big, and even clamped, fit slightly awkwardly. But that’s going to happen when the dress is so large…but my in laws are convinced it will fit perfectly when it is in my size. I’m of course worried of the exact opposite.
The wedding is outside at my in-law’s home in the Southern Californian mountains in late September, ceremony is on top of a hilltop. It will be around 80-90 degrees. The style of the wedding is romantic and something close to nature. I’m planning on probably sporting a thin flower/olive leaf crown, maybe with a thin veil, though not completely sold on that.
Let me know what you think!!

although I like the back of dress one better, overall dress 2 has a better look.

Both are absolutely stunning on you…but I really like the train on the second dress! So I would choose dress #2! Both are amazing though!

you cannot go wrong with either option!! If I HAD to pick, I would say dress 2.

- Wedding: November 2015 - City, State
I don’t like the front of the first dress, I think it looks like a nightgown. I love the back though. The second dress is just beautiful all around! I voted for#2.

Both dresses are beautiful on you! I agree with others that the train on the second dress is a bit better. If any changes could be made I would change the straps in the front of the second dress to a see through mesh material almost like an illusion neckline so that the heart shape would stand out more.

Dress 2 by far! It has a wow factor that the first does not.

I have to cast my vote for #2 as well, but goodness, you can’t really go wrong either way! Both dresses are gorgeous!

I love the back on dress one, I think you should think about how you would bustle either of them and think about what you prefer that may help you make a decision

I also love the back of dress #1 and the front of dress #2. The back of dress #2 is quite beautiful also. Given that, I vote for dress #2.
By the way, although the second dress clearly is too big, it can’t actually be 8-10 sizes too large for you. That would mean that if you are a size 0, the dress would be a size 16 or 20. Regardless of the size difference now, I think the dress will look fantastic on you in your size.

Something about the front of dress 1 is very unflattering IMO. Dress 2 looks amazing on you!

No 2 – I love lace and really love lace/sheer backs. However while I have been searching I’ve started to find that the lace framing the back, rather than totally covering it, is very attractive. I also worry that with the full cover on the back do you have to be perfectly poised for it to look good? I think the second dress is more flattering – you have a perfect figure and it shows it off.
Good luck 🙂
