Sorry just wanted to share my excitement. I am doing a fairly casual, DIY wedding and have opted not to pay the $125 fee my venue charges just to have a bartender. So, instead, we are buying bottles of beer from our favorite local brewery and having a self-serve station. I have been searching for beverage buckets that are nice for a while and by pure happenstance I found some today at Ace Hardware, and they were on sale. Only $20 each (inlcuding the stand), normally $60 each but were being clearanced out from the summer stock. I bought 3 for the price of 1! I am so stoked about the money savings.
Now to add some color or excitement to them, any thoughts bees? My colors are white, silver and apple green.

They’re silver, so they work with the theme, no? I would maybe see if they detach easily from their stands, and use some metal spraypaint and paint the stands. If not, just keep them how they are. They’re great.

What a great deal! If you want to add some color, maybe wrap a thick strip of lace with apple green ribbon around, just for some detail?

@sayanything: That’s a good idea that wouldn’t be too much work. Thanks for the comment!

I would take apple green ribbon and create hanging signs to tell guests what’s inside the buckets. Tie each end of the ribbon banner to the handles. That way they have a little POP of color. They’re already silver =) the signs could be printed on white cardstock (punch a hole to put the ribbon through it and hang them up).
