We served wine with dinner. The guests chose from the house white or red. Our venue allowed us to state how many bottles we wanted opened before they stopped serving it for free. I think we said about 25 and we had an 80 person wedding. The bottles were $28 each.

We also served coffee and tea and obviously water for free. Pop and juice were extra but I didn’t see too many people drinking it. I wouldn’t worry too much about that!

The bar for the reception was a cash bar. It is pretty common in my area to do cash bars and everyone knew from our wedding website as well. There was a variety of beers, wines, and mixed drinks.

We had a late night snack served during the dancing, it was poutine and then we also paid for punch bowls of lemonade and iced tea. They were two huge punch bowls and were $75 each.

How much is your budget for beverages? That would help us Bees figure out where you could save costs maybe?
