This man is a total flake. The wedding was Aug 2010 and he required our payment in full prior to the wedding (several thousand!) and to date we still do not have the wedding album or the pictures he owes us. He moved his business and claims he’s not in business, yet he still has an active website. He has given us excuse after excuse after excuse, including poor poor me, my family hates me (not our problem!), and promises to finish are all lies! I’m going to have to file a court claim against him!

I think it’s pretty standard for most vendors to require payment before the wedding. Our photographer requires that full payment be made a week or two in advance.
What have you done in the last 2 years to get this resolved? Who referred you to this guy?

sorry to hear! It is over TWO YEARS later though so Im with the previous poster….what steps have you taken to resolve? I would not still be waiting after all this time without court intervention or something.

I’m not sure what the statute of limitations is, so that’s something to think about when considering legal action.

OMG That’s awful!! I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope you do take legal action. Did you keep all your contracts and invoices?

Just noting that this thread is 7 months old so the OP may not respond. 🙂
