I just read a post about Bridal and Formal. I must say, this sounded kinda similar to my Wendys Bridal situation.
It was so terrible!! I will spare most of the details but –
When I bought my wedding dress, the ladies werent incredibly “nice” I will say that. But I loved my dress. So I did buy it. – OK – thats that part.
AND I will say this, the alteration lady was SUPER nice however.
OK- lets talk Maid/Matron of Honor dress. After no help. We ordered a dress. The woman argued with us about the size to order. My girl is a size 0. Yes, I true size 0. She is tiney tiny (i hate her! jk) Anywho– the woman insisted on ordering a 2. OK FINE>
When we got the dress in, it was late on arival, instead of a month before the wedding it was 2 weeks. OK fine. IT WAS A SIZE 6 NOT 2 AND IT WAS THE TOTALLY WRONG COLOR!!!! They said there was nothing they could do. Lots of details in there, but ultimately nothing. I was so upset and livid.
We searched for another dress.
Every dress store I went into I told them what had happened and they said that wendys should do SOMETHING!!!
OH – another tid bit, they wouldnt reimburse my girl!!!!
A week before the wedding, still no dress found, I went into Wendys, Guns hot. I demanded that they give us our money back and they finally agreed to that.
Now the dress. They were tooth and nail to not do anything until I started getting irrate. I started crying bc I was SO upset. FINALLY, they said they would find another dress.
They found god awful dresses. ANYWAY – In the end they became a smidge helpeful. But still, a bride should not have to go to extremes ya know. ESP when its a BRIDAL store!!!
OK. end rant. But Wendys sucks!!
