@Arrowchan:  Based on your reccomendation, I went and looked up Tony at Fashion U. HE IS AMAZING. He emailed me like 6 times in on day to iron out all the details, sent me a sketch, everything. I literally ordered from him the same night I got your messge. Thank you SO MUCH for the idea!!

@clairebbbear:  I got an email from her last night and etsy did take her shop down. Apparently she was refunding for canceled orders directly through paypal accounts rather than through etsy which is against etsy policy. She’s trying to work it out with etsy right now, but from what she says, etsy is not budging. Surprised

@immanorcalbee:  Her user page is back up, but her shop is not. From an email I received from her, it sounds as if etsy will likely not open her shop back up.. . .

@ChemMon1:

It looks like they are just “copy and pasting” the email to all the concerned costumers. Undecided

Hi all!  I joined just to post to this thread.  I also received the same email from Wonderxue saying that Etsy had closed her shop because of how she was refunding orders.  I wrote Etsy (per her request) and this is the response I received.

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to inform you that this seller no longer qualifies to be a member of Etsy and will not be returning to the site.

You may want to open a claim for a refund. The instructions for doing so will vary depending on your original method of payment.

If you paid with PayPal, you will need to contact PayPal directly for information on how to open a claim for refund. PayPal has a time limit for opening a dispute: you must open a claim within 45 days of the payment date. If the PayPal deadline has passed, you also have the option of contacting your bank or credit card issuer for assistance opening a claim.

If you paid with a service other than PayPal, we recommend that you contact them as well to find out more information about their dispute process.

In addition to filing for a refund, please take a moment to open a case on Etsy. To open a case, visit Your Account > Purchases. Next, identify the transaction in question and hover over “Report an Issue,” selecting the appropriate reason from the drop down menu. Finally, select the item or items in the transaction, complete the report and click “Submit.”

For a thorough explanation of how to open a case, please visit this link to our Help page:

You may also want to consider taking these additional steps to protect yourself and others:

– File a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
– If the item was shipped by USPS, open a report with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service:http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/
– Contact a law enforcement agency in your location or the seller’s location.

Please let us know if there is anything more we can do for you.

Best,

Liv

@Nino1349:  Ugh, that does not sound promising. I do find it hard to believe that it was just a matter of a few accidental refunds to the wrong place if Etsy has permanently kicked her off their site.

so the girl that wrote this blog on her recent wedding dress from wonderxue http://www.sistersdeux.com/2013/05/02/wonderxue-a-dress-experience/

looks aweful in that dress..I was looking at other pictures and she’s a pretty, young thin girl. That dress makes her look 40 years old and 20 pounds over weight…I’m confused If she was writing a good review or a bad one…anyone know?

@Lglenn22:

Lol! She liked her dress. It did seem a little big on her, but she said she was going to take it to a tailor.

@ChemMon1:  Hi! I can’t find his page on Etsy. Is it still up? I just ran into an issue with Wonderxue because she originally agreed to have me pay half up front for 7 bridesmaid dresses and the other half after completion. Then her shop closed! I hadnt paid anything thank God, but now she’s asking for the whole amount and i told her no! Give up $1000 over the internet with no product or photos, etc???? Negative! I am soo pissed right now. I am hoping to find someone else. I cant seem to find this Tony guy though :(. Please help!
