This isn’t a great picture (the reflectin of my skin on the palladium band makes it look sort of copper-colored, but it’s not!)… but here is my bezel solitaire. I LOVE it. πŸ™‚

As an alternative to all the halos I see:

I like the antique filigree bezels…We are ordering mine next week. We are looking at antique stores through Ruby Lane (for ethical and aesthetic reasons.) Some hip designers are bringing them back in shops around Austin, SF, Williamsburg, etc. 

He found one he likes. It’s around a .5 ct…It looks something like this:
