So while searching the internet for early pregnancy test detection levels, I came across something on babymed that got me curious!
…”hCG levels are also higher in women carrying a female fetus when compared to women carrying a male fetus, so it is possible that the pregnancy test becomes positive later in women carrying a male fetus“
Has this proved true in anyone’s case?? Please share, I’m so intrigued!

I’m curious how people will answer this. I tested really early (9 dpo) because I was in a “pact” with the Oct TTC board girls lol plus I had a million wondfo’s laying around waiting to be used. My lines were of course very very light. I find out in a month what we’re having. I honestly think it has to do with willpower of testing… If I would have waited a few days the lines would have been darker.

I got a fairly strong BFP at 10dpo and I am having a boy.
Edited to say that I have always had high levels of HcG this pregnancy (my numbers were on the high end of the spectrum) and thus lots of “morning sickness”. I can’t imagine it has anything to do with gender but just how your body reacts to pregnancy.
