@Mrs.Maeby:  Most doctors only draw blood if you have a history of recurrent miscarriages or infertility. I find it SO weird so many bees get betas drawn lol but it’s awesome, but no I wouldn’t worry about it. Only if you begin to spot or cramp (aka “threatened miscarriage.”) I worked in OB. =) Congats!

I got one drawn (and it was a BFN) because I happened to already be at the OBGYN’s office for my yearly. When I got my BFP via FRER this time, the office staff just asked me for the date of my last AF and scheduled me for an 8 week appointment + U/S. They assumed that the FRER is correct.

If you really push, I’m sure they’ll let you get a blood test as it’ll come out of your pocket anyway.

@Mrs.Maeby:  No prob! Just be sure you call if you have any symptoms, which could of course be benign and completely normal, but the sooner you call and get your blood drawn the easier it is to tell if the numbers are going up appropriately. FX for a sticky baby =)
