Hello! I posted recently about my excitement that I ovulated for the first time ever (on Clomid)… everyone was lovely & so supportive.
The good news keeps coming I GOT MY BFP YESTERDAY! I’ve now done 4 tests all +ve… one yesterday morning, two yesterday evening (13DPO) and one this morning (14DPO).
I’m in total shock and don’t think it’s sunk in yet. I’m also beside myself worrying it won’t be OK or I’m somehow imagining it (here they don’t do bloods to confirm my 1st appointment will be a 7 week scan). Does anyone have any tips to deal with the worrying?
Pics are yesterday’s 3 test (first response was the morning one)

Congrats!! Very clear BFPs!
No tips to deal with worrying, I just got my BFP yesterday after a year of TTC and i’m a worry wart. But I’ve been finding talking about it, distracting myself (walks, and we have a puppy!) and peeing on too many sticks helps.. hah

congrats to you too!!! I am with you on being a worry wart, I’m so bad for it. I’m scared to let myself be excited in case something goes wrong. Hubby has the attitude of nothing to worry about until there is something to worry about and I’m just like nope I’m worried anyway haha!
I have a holiday soon which will be a good distraction, and as you can see I’m definitely peeing on too many sticks!!!
Fingers crossed we both have good healthy pregnancies 🙂

Congratulations!!! No tips on how to avoid worrying really. What got me through the first trimester was just knowing worrying wouldnt change the outcome either way so I just tried to focus on taking each day at a time and being excited!!
I know from experience it easier said then done though. I am almost to my 3rd trimester and I still worry sometimes!!
Such wonderful news!

My biggest tip is just to keep reminding yourself that until you know otherwise you are pregnant! And since you unfortunately can’t change the outcome, why not focus on the positive, and enjoying this time as best you can?

Congrats, what wonderful news back-to-back! Your lines look great, especially that FRER! I know it’s easy to say but try not to worry, today you are pregnant. Worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes and there is something to worry about. For now, enjoy being pregnant! Yay! 😀

Thank you everyone! You guys are right, I can’t control it or change anything that’s going to happen and I should let myself enjoy it. I’m lightening up a lot already just after it being another day nearly complete. I can’t wait for our scan! I’m sure I’ll be incessantly taking tests still but I’m going to try and relax a little and enjoy this time 🙂
Congratulations on your little one, you must be so excited to meet baby soon!

Congratulations! That’s so exciting!
Just take it a day at a time. You’re pregnant right now. No matter what happens, this is true.
