If your tests were negative before you bleed, could it have been implantation bleeding? Those tests are glaring positive and probably consistent with you being 4-5 weeks.  Fingers crossed and congratulations!

Sounds like implantation bleeding to me! Those lines are very nice for 5 weeks. Bleeding around the time your period would be due is quite common in early pregnancy. Hope you get your beta results back ASAP!

BeepBopB00p :  they look very positive to me. I bled on and off throughout my first trimesters. Five weeks is Aldi very early to see much on a scan.

congrats, looks like it’s your time. I have to say I’m not surprised

I didn’t have bleeding but I know it’s not uncommon.  Those are all very positive BFP tests!  Darker lines than I had when I missed my period (and I delivered a healthy full term baby).  Your symptoms also sound promising.   I remember sense of smell and nausea being my first symptoms around 4-5 weeks.  I’m thinking positive thoughts fot you.  Congrats!

BeepBopB00p :  as PP have said, definitely could be implantation bleeding. I feel very positive about this and have my fingers crossed for your blood results!

How many DPO were you when you started bleeding?

I bled a lot my first trimester but I also had a positive pregnancy test previous to that. I hope this isn’t the case for you but I’ve heard a few stories like yours that turn ectopic. Are you getting another scan shortly? I super hope this is a sticky babe in the right place for you

I bled pink/red/brown blood almost every day for the first 8 weeks (from around the time of my missed period – I only got my BFP three days after my missed period), and I’m currently 27 weeks with everything looking good so far. 🙂 Bleeding in the first trimester is pretty common, especially very early on as I understand it. Didn’t stop me worrying though of course. 😀

I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!

BeepBopB00p :  2 days of light bleeding doesn’t really sound like a period to me.  Best of luck.

I didn’t have implantation bleeding, but it’s a very real thing.  There is a very real chance that you’re pregnant right now! Your HCG level should steadily rise now – 76 at 5 weeks would be low, but these are such wide ranges that you need to take them with a grain of salt. All that matters is that they double every couple of days.

Honestly, it’s very hard to see anything that early on a scan – I’m surprised they did one.  I had a MC in the spring at 7 week and even then the ER said that it was possible that they wouldn’t see a sac or any evidence of a pregnancy and the only way to confirm was falling HCG levels. Long anecdote to tell you – not seeing anything on a scan that early is not strange.
