I totally forgot this thread was here, just saw it and thought I’d post! I loved looking through this while TTC and seeing all the pretty lines!

Quick TTC background: TTC since Sept 2012. Referred to an RE in Jan 2013 due to long/irregular cycles. First round of Clomid days 3-7 started at the end of Feb which resulted in our BFP. ๐Ÿ™‚

How / When did you find out: Friday March 15/14DPO! Didn’t test before then, didn’t (and still don’t) feel pregnant at all, no symptoms. POAS on 2 cheapy wondfo’s.. one started to show a second line so I broke out the FRER and immediately freaked out!

How did you / will you tell SO: I tested without him knowing in the morning, but he had been asking all week when I could test. I didn’t want to get his hopes up so I just told him after the weekend. We had a bottle of wine given to us on our wedding from our SIL that had a tag around it about celebrating “1st baby”. I wrapped a onesie around it that said “My daddy makes me smile” and had 2 glasses ready for him when he got home from work (as a fake out ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and asked him if he wouldn’t mind opening the bottle for me. He immediately started to tear up and say “REALLY?! REALLY?!?!” lol. It was quite a moment!

TTC strategy (charting, OPKs, supplements, lying down after BD,  etc.): Charting, OPK’s, 1 round Clomid (100mg), bum up on a pillow for 20 mins after BD and preseed inserted internally before BD.

Cycles Trying: I believe it was about 4 as I had incredibly long cycles which took up a lot of time lol.

Anything new this cycle: Clomid was the only “new” thing I added to our regular routine.

Symptoms: Literally, NONE. I noticed I was slightly more hungry around 7/8DPO but that isn’t the first time that has happened. My boobs were sore on the outside the day I tested, almost like pinchy on the outsides but that was only on 14DPO.

@TammieRei:  thank you!!!!

@AstoriaK:  thank you! I was worried after killing off my thyroid that I would be the issue, but I am very closely monitored by my endo. I actually emailed her before calling my midwife and she already increased my synthroid to handle the pregnancy.

@ScottishMrs:  12/9 is my DH’s birthday! Sometimes a break is needed from the bee…as much as I love it, sometimes it made me even crazier. But the support is also needed at times.

@ScottishMrs:  I told him right away so he knows….well see!! Sometimes a break is in order and sometimes you need to give and receive the support.

Hi!  Excited to join this one!

Quick TTC background: Stopped BCP in September, charted for the first few months, got a BFP in December, M/C’d in January at about 7 weeks.  This was our first cycle to “try again”

How / When did you find out: Just this morning!  Since AF still isn’t due til tomorrow, I thought I better use a FRER since I might not have high enough hCG for a cheap one.  Two DARK lines developed right away!

How did you / will you tell SO: I just kinda walked over and showed him the stick.  Honestly, I guess we’re a little jaded from the recent loss, so this time we hugged, but there wasn’t any of the jumping around and shaking like last time.

TTC strategy (charting, OPKs, supplements, lying down after BD, etc.): Charting, and EOD BD the week of O.

Cycles Trying: 5

Anything new this cycle: No, but I heard that after a MC you’re more fertile for a few months.

Symptoms: nothing yet!

Link to your pregnant chart (if you have one):

BD Timing: O-4, O-2, O

@BlueEyes222: Congrats girlie! That is a beautiful dark line! I totally know what you mean about being a little jaded from a loss and not showing as much excitement this time around, DH and I will be the same way next time as well. I also MC at the beginning of January and I’ve heard the same thing about increased fertility after a MC and so hoping that’s the case. It looks like it was for you, and that gives me hope! Congrats again and H&H 9 months to you! ๐Ÿ™‚
