My friend is pregnant for second time in 3 months. She was worried after the miscarriage but everything is great. She told me her doctor mentioned that your chances of pregnant right after miscarriage are higher !!!

I got a pregnant with daughter about 16 days after a miscarriage, she’s 2 this march. No problems during pregnancy and she’s perfectly healthy and happy 🙂

i was just very very worried until I saw her heart beating at the first ultrasound.

congratulations on your pregnancy!

Congratulations! Fingers crossed for a happy nine months.

Yep, I got pregnant about 2 weeks after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. My body cleared the HCG pretty quickly, and I must have ovulated as usual. It was almost like it gave me a reset and fertility boost. I’m now 37 weeks pregnant with a healthy girl! I think the doctors advice to wait until your next cycle is more about the dating of your new pregnancy, and it was previously quite common advice. I think newer research suggests that if your body is ovulating and able to get pregnant, it’s capacity to sustain the pregnancy won’t be affected.

Not exactly the same, but I conceived my daughter 6 weeks after my D&C.  (I did wait until after 1 period to try again, but conceived immediately after that.  I think they like you to do that mostly to make it easier to date the pregnancy.)  Anyway, the only thing that could have been an issue was that I had to have another d&c type procedure after delivery of my daughter because my placenta was retained.  They told me that scar tissue from my previous pregnancy may have caused my placenta to attach too deeply to my uterus or something.  But I am not sure whether waiting longer would have changed the odds of that happening or not.

aislebound :  I got a positive pregnancy test 8 weeks after having a natural miscarriage. It was a very normal pregnancy and baby was born healthy and beautiful, he is about to turn 3 years old! Honestly the hardest thing was keeping my emotions controlled throught the whole 9 months, because I was just so scared something would happen and I wouldn’t have my rainbow baby.

aislebound :  I had a miscarriage in September, passed naturally. I didn’t actually get a period until November, but immediately conceived after that period. I  am now 11 weeks along.  I don’t think I ovulated in October which is why it took longer for my period to come back.

I had a D&C in March and found out I was pregnant again in early May. We did wait for one cycle to make sure my lining was good after the procedure. I had my baby in December! Good luck with your pregnancy!!

Me!

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks at the end of August.  I got pregnant again that next cycle. I’m 21.5 weeks pregnant now with a healthy baby boy due in June! No unexpected complications.
