I think spotting can be linked to low progesterone. I would call the doctor and let them know. maybe they can do bloodwork and give you a supplement if needed. My progesterone was low with my current pregnancy and I was having brown spotting. It stopped the day after i started the progesterone. good luck!

I second the suggestion to get your progesterone tested. Good luck and congratulations!!

Yes, I also say go to the doctor. Sometimes it’s normal – sometimes not. If your doc isn’t open I’d go the ER or something like that to get checked out. Better safe than sorry IMO. Good luck!

reasonablegirl:  I always spotted too. FWIW I have always heard not to worry unless it’s bright red. Good luck

Always heard that brown blood = old blood. I have been pregnant 5 times. 3 births, 1 Mc and I am now 11 weeks into my 5th pregnancy. During my 2nd pregnancy I bled the ENTIRE time. It was due to a small blood clot that had formed between the placenta and uterus.  The doc told me not to worry, and my daughter was born happy and healthy.

My point is, most of the time bleeding is nothing to worry about. However it is also unhealthy to be overly stressed, so if you feel that being seen by a doctor can put your mind at ease, then by all means please do. However from my experiences, if it isn’t bright red and you aren’t cramping or passing clots, they will just tell you to relax; )

Wait, after giving it a bit of thought, are you sure it started at 2 dpo? If so, spotting at 2 dpo wouldn’t be caused by the pregnancy because your fertilized egg wouldn’t have even implanted until at least a few days later.

Try not to worry… and in my honest opinion, it seems like implantation bleeding to me. And also try to remember that if you have lovey dove time while you are pregnant it could cause your cervix to bleed a bit too which is perfectly normal ๐Ÿ˜‰

For me spotting was the norm throughout my pregnancy, and I now have two healthy boys who are a year next week. I wouldn’t worry too much. Congrats!
