That sounds great for now! For comparison, my hcg was 66 at 4 weeks, and they said that was ‘a little low’, but then up to 153 two days later, and my son is a healthy one year old. So I’d say you are looking good so far, good luck with the draw on Monday. I’d say stop testing and temping, the blood work will tell you much more and (hopefully) freak you out less!

zstbee84 :  Sounds like good news!! I would do what pp suggested and stop testing at temping for now. It will only drive you crazy! Your blood work at your second beta will tell you a lot more!! For now I would enjoy the fact that you are officially pregnant!! Really hoping all goes well for you!!

zstbee84 :  I had brown spotting and cramps for most of the first trimester with my living child. Both of my CPs were super heavy bright red bleeding with huge clots. I know it’s super nerve wracking especially after you’ve already experienced a MC, but brown spotting is actually super normal. FX for a sticky bean.

zstbee84 :  Sending all the hugs.  I had 2 chemicals in the past year and I understand what a roller coaster of emotions this process can be.  Just chiming in to say my HCG was 154 on Wednesday (4w1d) and 352 today (4w3d) and my nurse said both of those were good.  My progesterone was 15 on Wedneday (forgot to ask what it was today).  All that to say you’re in the normal range and cramping in normal.  Crossing my fingers for you bee.  xx

zstbee84 :  Hi. Just wanted to reach out as I’m going through a similar thing. I think we may have had our miscarriages around the same time (December) as I remember you from then. I’m pregnant again (nearly 6 weeks) but have been cramping and spotting light brown the last few days. It’s very stressful and I’m not surprised you’re struggling to focus on work. I’m the same! I really hope all works out well for you x

I am 8w6d pregnant, and from about 4weeks-currently, I have had cramping. It’s like a dull mentrul cramping/pulling feeling that comes and goes throughout the day, mostly when I’m on my feet. Around 6 weeks, I woke up to brown, heavy spotting. Of course I was freaked, so I called my OB and they got me in that day for an early transvaginal sonogram. Lo and behold, our little baby (and heartbeat!) was visible!  Since that sonogram, I’ve had a couple instances of brown spotting. What my doctor told me is that your cervix is extremely engorged with blood so a lot of things can irritate it (sex, exercise, bowel movement, etc) and was long as it’s not accompanied by heavy, sharp cramping and red blood, you’re onay. Most of the time, brown discharge is old blood.
