I didn’t have spotting around my BFP, but I did have spotting the next month (at 8 weeks) when I would have normally gotten my period.  My doctor said that it is pretty common for your body to be confused around the time you’d normally have your period and spot a little.  They basically told me no sex until 48 hours after it stops, no lifting anything heavy, and drink lots of water.  And not to be concerned unless you have considerable cramping and pink/red blood.  If you are really worried you should call your doctor, but I doubt there is much you can do at this point but wait.   Because I was farther along they did an ultrasound a few weeks later to make sure everything was ok, but I don’t think you could see much at your stage.  Sending positive sticky baby thoughts your way!

Just Sounds like implantation spotting to me. I had pretty much the exact same thing at 10dpo.And got my BFP on 12dpo and I’m now 26 weeks pregnant. It’s just the fertilized egg imPlanting into your uterine lining. I wouldn’t worry unless it becomes larger quantities of bright red blood. Dark brown is usually old blood that’s been in there awhile. So, congrats on your BFP!!

I spotted the whole time during the TWW. It was wiers, because I normally spot a lot, but this time it was more. I pretty much spotted up until week 9 or so consistently. But, I do have a subchorionic hematoma, so that is probably the culprit for me.
