@heathie1:  yes! I laughed at their mercury glass votives, for 28.00 dollars, (kinda look like a pumpkin) I had been eyeing the same ones at Home goods for like 4.99 a piece.  and except for a few of the things, most of the decor you can find cheaper/make yourself.

@Khalessi3:  I agree with you,  I haven’t been able to find it online on any other real brides.  Your the first. I will post a photo of me in it when I recieve it next week.  (unless it’s not worth posting).

Thanks for the heads up with the used Ribboned Silk Gown.  I already had my eye on it.  I searched for used Crashing Waves as well but, non out there that I could find.  I think most brides want white, so I don’t think there are as many circulating out there.

I love the way you are going to do your hair!  So retro.  You’ll have to make sure and post photos of you on your wedding day. It’s not that far off.  I bet you are getting super excited.

@distracts:  UGH, Ok, I’m like 90% I’m going to buy them 😉 I’m just SO stingy.

@accorn:  Sadly, I returned in! Was not a good dress for a girl with larger chest 🙁 I was so sad as I’ve been stalking it since I got engaged!

@Khalessi3:  Just received my dress today.  It’s not all the way zipped in the back cause it’s too tight. Ugh! It fits everywhere except around the pleated breast area.  Needless to say I just made a one year commitment to a Boot Camp Fitness Gym. My wedding isn’t until March 2014 so I CAN do it. I really DON’T want to return it.

@Khalessi3:  I am very excited, and will be even more excited when I get the zipper to the top.  I will keep you posted on my accessories I choose. Please feel free to keep me updated with the ones you choose as well.  Since your wedding is a whole year before mine, I’d love to see a photo or too of your day! Cheers!

Hi BHLDN brides!

I am getting married this April and have a very small budget for the wedding.  I have fallen in love with the beautiful vintage inspired wedding gowns in the BHLDN line, but cannot afford them with my budget.  I specifically love the simple ones with lace detail – my favorites are the Odessa gown, the Omari dress, the Beams-of-Light dress, and the Olivia gown.

If anyone has one of these dresses (or something similar) that they would be willing to donate or sell at a low cost, I would be forever grateful.

I am 5’5″ and usually wear a size 0 or 2 (although I’d be more than willing to alter a different size if needed).

Thank you in advance!!

A friend of mind works for Anthropologie and was able to hook me up with her 40% off discount. I just purchases most of my decor from BHLDN, my shoes, and a sash. I am beyond excited to get them!!
