Are there any bees out there that have shipped BHLDN to Canada? And further, any Canadians who have had to ship something back to return?
I am debating ordering some items from BHLDN, but I’m not 100% and I’m not sure how long delivery might take, and if customs/duty fees are refundable upon returning any purchases.
Any advice, or experiences you can share with shopping from them?

Sorry I don’t have anything to add. I look at their site often, but haven’t ordered. Anyways, here is a belated bump as I’d be interested in hearing from others!

@natylka: I think they ship worldwide, but you might have to order over the phone if not a US order. Call them! they are very helpful!!

I ordered my wedding dress from them. It was made in the US so I did not have to pay customs. It needs a couple alterations but it fit pretty well and I love it so I did not send it back.
You can email with their stylists before you order to help ensure you get the right size. They also extended the return period for me by request because I was out of town when it was delivered.
I think there is a risk of having to pay to send it back, but I was willing to take that risk. The dress arrived 4-5 days after I ordered it if I recall correctly.

Hello! I’m new here and had post this for any Canadians that are thinking about purchasing a dress from BHLDN. I ordered a dress and it was suppose to arrive within a week…. so that was great. I just got a call today from UPS brokerage saying that I owed almost $900 in duties, GST and brokerage fees….eeek! Apparently, my dress was not made in the US! I called BHLDN to confirm where it was made and they said “international” sooo… that kinda sucked. Luckily for me, I live about 1.5hrs away from Maine and decided refuse delivery with UPS and ship my dress to a US address (which I have).
Anyway, something to think about if you are going to order. Hope this helps! PS– the service at BHLDN was top notch 🙂

I live 10 miles from the Sarnia/Port Huron border. We are so lucky there’s a shipping place we use in Port Huron. I pick everything up there. Costs $2.00 for a package. Saves me $$$ lots in duty and shipping.
