Hi Bees… I bought a dress! I’m actually still on the waiting list. We’re not doing an engagement but I’m not going off the waiting list til he tells his family… but we’re planning on a tiny elopement style wedding with a few family members this December.
I couldn’t pass up this dress! BHLDN dress found on oncewed. I knew I was taking a chance on fit and damn vanity sizing bit me again. This is a size 0! I’m a petite gal but I don’t think I should be the SMALLEST. 5’2 and I weight about 115. Anyhow, I think I can make it work. Can anyone tell me more about their experiences with alterations?
Here’s a link to see what it looked like on the model: http://www.bhldn.com/the-shop_dresses/dainty-diversion-mini
Please tell me I can make this work! I got it at a great price!

I’m posting from my phone and can only open the pic of the dress on the model. I think the dress is beautiful — and the lace is gorgeous! I’m glad you are petite, since I personally find the hemline to be unacceptably short on the model.
Are you saying that the dress is too large for you? If so, it appears to be a style that easily can be altered.

Bhldn fits true to street size. I tried on every dress they carry when they had a trunk show near me and every dress I was the same size and my normal size. You chose a lovely dress!

Thanks everyone, I love the fabric, just worried about the fit right now! I’m not sure if theyll be able to take the shoulders in or how much that would cost? Considering that I got a good deal on it, alterations would be worth it.
