Hi All — I’m planning a friend’s bachelorette in Chicago over Labor Day weekend, but I’m running into snags with the dinner plans. It’s going to be a huge group to start — like 20 or so. Does anyone have any ideas in the River North area (or I’d take other areas at this point) for a good but not too expensive group dinner? I’m trying to keep dinner under $50 a person… I know, a challenge! Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!

I can second the greatness of Nacional 27. They have dancing after a certain point at night as well. They push all the tables to the side and get down! They also have great food and drinks!

Thanks so much — Nacional 27 looks like fun! And dancing is definitely on the agenda.

Nacional 27 is really fun. In that area, I also love Cafe Iberico and Quartino.

This is all too funny…that’s where we are going for my bachelorette party over Labor Day weekend! I’ve heard great things about Nacional 27 and can’t wait to check it out!

Sushi Samba is also a nice vibe. A little pricey for drinks & sushi though. But maybe you all can do a pre-party with hors d’oeuvres and it won’t be so pricey.
