@mojoh:  mine are like that too! My knuckles at the base are wide because I wear a 10 but my fingers aren’t all that squidgy lol. I can wear the same size ring on my pinky and my thumb. Mickey mouse hands!

I’m 5’0.  I think my finger is about 7.5/8.

My fingers don’t LOOK that chunky, but they are short and stubby. My hands and fingers work and that’s all that matters. 🙂

One of my best friends is 5’1,” 12 pant and wears the same size as me (9) where as I am 5’9″ and wear an 18.

All these tiny finger ladies are shocks to me. It blows my mind when I see someone on here saying they were a 5, 4 or even a 3. My pinky is a 6.5!

lmao!! I’d really like to know why the assumption that only anyone who wears over a size 7 ring has chubby fingers? Because I’ve seen various hands with rings on here…that say their ring sizes are anywhere from a 4 to a 6…and some of their fingers look chunky to me….so either its 1. Ppl aren’t telling their real ring size or 2. no matter the ring size, some people’s fingers are just going to look chunky. Bottom line, why do ppl care whether or not ring size correlates to weight/size. All of us are different. Just my opinion, but assumptions sometimes have ways of offending some people.

I’m short (5’3) and fat (100kg) and my ring size is an Australian M, which is a 6 I think in American sizes!

I am 5’7″, fit/healthy with a size 7.  Initially, my ring was sized to a 6.75 which fit, but it was scraping off the skin on my knuckles (I lift everyday, so I have to take it off) and leaving me with a nasty callus so I had it sized up a smidge.

My fingers have always been a size 8, regardless of my weight. I don’t think my fingers look ‘chubby’.

When I was 215, I was a size 7. At about 150, I was a 6.25. I’m about 5’6. I suspect this is largely genetic, rather than height/weight related. Fortunately I have fingers long enough that they don’t get the sausagey look, but I am envious of the girls with 3.75 fingers that can rock the .5ct center stones and still look like they have a huge rock.

I’m 5ft even and about average weight.  I’ve always had rather large fingers.  I wear a size 8. When I was a girl I used to try on my mom’s and my grandma’s wedding rings, and get them stuck on my chubby little fingers.

I didn’t even know I had big fingers until I came here! I was never big on the ring scene so I didn’t even know what size I was but my Fiance says the ring is a 9. Which is so wierd to me because everyone says I have skinny fingers (from playing the piano). Not that it’s a bad thing at all, just found it interesting. Oh, and I’m 5’7″…

I normally wear a size 8, but due to how thick the bands are on my rings, I went with a side 9 so they fit properly. The e-ring itself is too big, but with the wedding band it’s just right.
