I’m wondering everyones opinion on jewelry for the big day. I have a trumpet gown with a soft sweetheart neckline and a long cathedral veil. I have purchased long dangly earrings and a show stopper necklace that both have a very regal look to them. I bought them both originally planning that I would wear them together but now I’m starting to wonder if it would be TOO MUCH. Should I pick one or the other? How does everyone feel about long earrings worn with a big necklace? Should I wear one or the other, or both?
PS: I have no idea how I’m wearing my hair. I’m torn on that too. Any ideas on what would look better with my jewelry are more than welcome!

It sounds like you should wear just the earrings. Photos of your dress and the jewelry would really help you get some opinions from the hive if you have them!

One or the other. A big necklace AND big earrings is too much, personally.

Having two big statement peices would be distracting. You also want to make sure it’s not overpowering your dress in any way.

You deff dont want to over state your dress…. So I say 1 big statment peice maybe

Without seeing pictures, my reaction is that you should only wear one. You don’t want to go too over-the-top. The attention should be on you, not your jewelry.

Agree with PP – just do either big earrings or big necklace – not both!

Long dangly earrings may or may not compete with the necklace, depending on how big they are. Do you have pictures you can share?
