We got massages at our resort in Cancun “technically.” More technically, we went on vacation before our one year and on our one year we went grocery shopping. We kinda treated ourselves in Cancun as a pre-anniversary gift. Our 2 year is in about a month and a half. I have NO idea what to do. Maybe we should start figuring that out… πŸ™‚

So, what makes your girlfriends think he might propose? Is it just because it seems like it’s so unlikely? Has he done anything out of the ordinary? Even better question: What are your plans for your anniversary? Oh, and congrats! Hope you have a great time! πŸ™‚

Sorry your trip didn’t work out. Sounded like it would have been quite the surprise. πŸ™‚ He sounds like a really sweet, thoughtful guy though. Whatever you end up doing I hope you have a great time. And let us know if your walk in the park turns into something more. πŸ™‚ Fingers crossed for you!

No clue. Your post actually reminded me. The last several months have been crazy and I had completely forgotten. So, thank you for that! πŸ™‚

You know, the best part about rough spots is that they’re temporary. I’m sure you’ll be surprised how fast it passes. Where do you want to go on your vacation?

Those would be amazing vacation spots. The fact that you have family there is only icing on the cake. All of my mom’s side of the family are in England, and I hear you about not seeing overseas relatives for years. It isn’t easy. Can’t just pop over the ocean for a quick visit on a long weekend. πŸ™‚ It would be quite the graduation gift.

We didn’t do anything big- just had dinner together. Have fun on your anniversary though!

We haven’t done anything yet. Our 1 year is Saturday and all I know that we’re doing is going to Fuji Steakhouse. I don’t think we have anything else planned but I’m secretly hoping we’ll be doing something else. =)

Ours is on Saturday and we’re going out for dinner and drinks, nothing fancy. Possibly going to a club afterwards.. Not quite sure yet, he has to work the next day so we can’t stay out all night or anything.

Our anniversary is only a couple days next to Valentine’s Day, so we celebrated both on Feb 14th. We went to a very, very nice restaurant.

I took him to the Chocolate Fest. A convention where local vendors get together and you get to sample their chocolate! So much fun! Then I treated us to a couple’s massage, body scrubs and facials. He loved it!

We spent the night at a hotel in a town about an hour away and had a romantic dinner and then went ice skating the next day!  It was such a blast!  It was also our first vacation alone so it was really special.  It seems like eons ago, we were so young… what a cute walk down memory lane!
