    Go for it!

Try and find something you love just as much in your size.

I would try to make it to a jewelry store and try on an 8.

@wifeyhayes:  My FI’s friend designed my ring, to our specs of course. He said that if the ring keeps turning on your finger and you need to adjust it constantly then it is too big – and your stones will end up scratched or fall out fom constantly taking knocks. We actually had to have my ring made TWO whole sizes smaller – because Fiance thought measuring my finger with a bit of paper would be fool-proof. Guess again! It’s my size now and it still has some room left for swelling in the summer months. I’d say get something closer to your size if you are always busy with your hands, otherwise you may have to eventually even replace the CZ, which would be a pain.

    I hope this helps πŸ™‚

Have you checked with your homeowners insurance?  They might cover the cost of replacing your diamond.

It depends on how thin each band is. If the width of all three bands is wider than the ring you were used to it will definitely fit slightly smaller. A whole size can be a lot, but for $100 I would risk it to check. Some people have more of an issue with finger swelling in the heat than others, so that depnds on you, but my rings get tighter in the summer months. And with any form of arthritis the odds are good that your fingers/joints will get bigger, although that could take months or years. I have osteo arthritis (genetically it runs young in my family) in my hands and my ring size has gone up about a full size so far and will likely go bigger yet.

I say go for it. My fingers swell a lot, and since you have multiple bands, you can probably get away with it.

Also, I see others mentioned sizing beads, you could look into those as well.

Any pictures of your old set? (I’m nosy)
