@Moonlight_Densetsu: I run 2 miles a day and eat a balanced diet, lots of fresh produce, no sodas or juices, hardly ever eat red meat. I have been doing this for several months and have only lost 3 pounds. Please don’t lecture me and assume I am lazy and a junk food addict.
Also, interestingly enough, my bridesmaid is a size 8, lives pretty much on coffee and junk food and never exercises. Sometimes life isn’t fair

are you also in the picture you posted?
I hadn’t thought about it before but I’m bigger than all my BM’s too. I don’t really care. I’m 5’4″, about 160lbs and a size 10/12 depending (dresses I’m usually an 8 oddly enough) I’m happy being a curvy girl, although I would like my tummy to be a little flatter in my figureing hugging dream dress.

@Moonlight_Densetsu: completely off topic. Go post on the fitness board. someone might be interested. ETA also if you love exercising so much, learn how to spell it…
@Nferrari: You will be GORGEOUS. Haters gonna hate.

@MsGinkgo: Yes, I am the one on the left. I’m starting to worry less about it because it sounds like there are quite a few brides in the same siutation. Also, as other people have pointed out, we will be the ones in the white dress =)
@fingerscrossed: thanks for sticking up for me! (and the spelling bothered me too haha)

@Nferrari: okay seriously – you look like you’re the same size in that picture. I really don’t see a difference at all. You look fantastic and have nothing to worry about 🙂

@Nferrari: It sucks and I am in the same boat. Yes, your Fiance finds you beautiful, but it still sucks to compare yourself to others and feel like you don’t measure up. I’m going through it too, so I don’t know what advice to give you. Just want to tell you that I know your pain. Getting over it and just loving your body is advice that doesn’t work for me 😛
Also, I have an incredibly skinny and beautiful friend who eats chocolate bars for breakfast and follows it with twinkies. She wouldn’t know exercise if a weight hit her in the head. I try to eat right and exercise every single day…yet I am MUCH bigger than her. Life is not fair sometimes. Weight is very easy to gain and very hard to lose (at least that has been my experience).

Whose the one gonne be in the beautiful WHITE wedding gown with all eyes on her?
Plus, this day isn’t about competition, its about sharing your guys’ love for eachother with everyone else 🙂
Question: Did you ask your bridesmaid to try the dress on? Or did she just decide to try it on?

Stop, stop, stop. Now.
1. Everyone is there to see YOU. They will not be looking at the bridesmaids (I never do), and if anyone would ever be so awful as to sit there and compare you to the other girls…then I can confidently say being ugly like that will rot them from the inside out.
2. You are not big. I was your weight at 5’4″ back in the day. You are very tall and you look great.
3. There is no such thing as an “ugly/fat/not-good-enough” bride. All brides and gorgeous.

@LittleFlytrap: I asked her to try it on because I really wanted to see that dress on a real person before I made a decision and I couldn’t get it past my hips . The plan was for her to wear the one I was interested in while I wore a dress in a similar fit by the same designer. She was a good sport about it, happy to play dress up for a few minutes but also kept the focus on what I wanted
