What’s your biggest fear in terms of your wedding? The one thing you dread happening on your day?
Mine is getting sick! July in South America can get pretty cold and I’m convinced that I’ll have a cold and sneeze through the ceremony! I SO hope not!!! I also have these strange, almost fainting episodes every once in awhile. I’ll all of a sudden get really hot and start seeing black splotches until everything goes black and I have to hold onto something or fall down. I seem to have a few triggers, one of which is stress and another is being around lots of people/activity at once. So I’m afraid of that happening at the wedding! 🙁 They don’t last too long but I always sweat a lot so make-up and dress would be icky afterwards. And I’m usually beyond tired and need to sleep right after.
What about you all?? And any ideas to combat our fears?!

Mine is that my fiance’s hatred of PDA will mean he won’t want to kiss me/hold my hand, etc. Or that he’ll go off and smoke a cigar instead of dancing.

Make sure to eat really healthy leading up to everything! Fruits and vegetables will do your immune system wonders!
The only thing I’m afraid of is how I’m going to react on the day. My mom passed away 2 years ago and I tear up every time I think of her. My brother and his long time girlfriend passed away 4 years ago. When we got engaged I swear I was bi-polar for about two months. The thought of getting married without all of them there breaks my heart, but I am still so excited. It’s really hard.

My fear is that I’m going to be so nervous and anxious that I will get diarhea and end up having to run out during the ceremony because I need to go poo!
I have issues with my stomach and I plan to not a thing until the reception and will be drinking pepto and immodium that morning and afternoon hahaha

It wouldn’t be the end of the world, but I’m getting married outdoors, and I’m not keen on the idea of spending an extra 2K on tents!

My step dad DJs so we are using his equipment for the wedding but lately his laptop that holds all the songs has been messing up so my biggest fear is that something will go wrong very close to or at the wedding and we will have no music.

Another is that no one will say nice things, that I will look ugly in pictures, that the food won’t taste good, that it will rain too much in June making the ground soggy, that my fiance will wear burgundy like he’s threatened…that my dad will write a poem and read it but his voice isn’t very strong and people won’t understand him (this will happen).

@lyns86stc: Our DJ is having us provide our “must songs” on CDs- he’s bringing them to the wedding as backup, just in case something happens to his laptop- you might want to consider that.
My biggest fear is my belly- when I get sick, which isn’t too often, it’s a stomach bug. So I’m going to be REALLY careful what I eat for a couple of days before. Other than that, we have back up plans for pretty much everything.

Waking up with a cold sore! I tend to get cold sores when I’m stressed, or had too much sun, or for any stupid reason my body decides to make my lip swell up! I’ve been taking a prescription to help prevent them so hopefully I’ll be all good!

That we won’t have many guests and the room will look half-empty. We’re getting ready to send our invitations out in a little over a month so I’m starting to get anxious about the RSVPs I guess!

My biggest fear is that people won’t dance! I think this might be a bit unfounded, because I have some partying friends, but I would be so bummed if people weren’t having fun.

@Brideonabudgetlauren: I’m so sorry for your losses 🙁 That must be really hard.

– That certain people will be late.
– That family will do something embarrassing.
– That I’ll hate my hair and makeup and feel crappy all night.
