My awesome in laws have offered us a free trip to Hawaii! They have a timehsare they won’t be using, so offered it to us, and they’re including our flights!
I had a goal to be in bikini body shape for our honeymoon, but I failed miserably and became very discouraged. Looking at the pictures got me motivated to start a weight loss journey.
I started doing Rushfit (George St. Pierre from the UFC’s DVD workout program).
I lost 4 lbs in the first week, and have plateaued in the next 2 weeks, keeping a constant weight. This was achieved by the workouts as well as changing my diet and tracking calories.
Although I feel stronger and as a result, the workouts are getting easier, but I’m getting discouraged at the lack of tangible results.
I just completed week 3 of the 8 week program, and am feeling down about the whole thing.
How do you keep the motivation going when you hit a plateau so early? Is this just not the right workout for me, or should I press through it? I have 11 months before our trip.
