So…I was a super star before the wedding and dropped 15 lbs…now I have added 5 of those back thanks to my newlywedded bliss! 😉
There is a killer groupon today for Bikram Yoga…I have thought about trying this a few times to add it into my routine of jogging and Jillian Michaels 30DS…

I love it! You should check oout a class before signing up. You can burn a lot of calories by sweating and such, it is great for stretching and stress relief…you can burn up to 800 cals!

I haven’t tried hot yoga yet but I want to. There is a place near here I am going to try next month maybe. I really like regular hatha yoga.

Bikram Yoga is amazing. Have you ever done a yoga class, even a regular one? If not, and you want to try the Bikram, I’d just make a point to let the instructor know at the beginning of the session that it’s your first time. It can be really intense and if the instructor is aware it is your first time he/she might be able to help you with modifications or let you know if it’s OK to rest/take water/leave the room. I had done quite a bit of regular yoga before I tried Bikram and was still really glad that I told the instructor it was my first time because she made a point of putting me in a “cooler” spot in the room (near the door) and checking in with me to make sure I was holding up, which I appreciated.
That price is great, I’d pay that much just for 2 sessions around here! I always feel awesome after sweating that much, it’s very cleansing.

I used to do Bikram almost daily, as did my husband. Where we live now we no longer have a studio, and did keep it up at home for a while but have since slacked off on the Bikram as it is not the same doing it at home even though we had the classes recorded and the heat/humidity and everything (we do lots of other activities still though so we keep busy and active).
Be prepared to sweat from places you did not know you could sweat from. Like your toes, ha ha. It is not easy, but most people feel pretty amazing afterward.
